My cell phone is on crack

Or else I am. Someone please tell me why my cell phone is saying the time is one hour earlier than it is? My small brain cannot handle this conflicting information. *confused*

In other news, I started volunteering for CANTER. So, on the off chance any of you on my list knows of a person interested in adopting an off-track ex-racehorse to retrain for different careers (or in many cases never been raced thoroughbred ready for a happy home), this is a good place to look. :)

You know I love horses if I'm getting up ridiculously early on Sunday mornings to go talk to trainers. I'm just saying.

There was a bit of a problem today, getting me permission to go to the backside of my local race track (seems we have to get me my own backside license! sounds vaguely naughty *snicker*), and then my cell phone was possessed and telling me I was an hour off and confusing me to no end. And now I'm home again, still confused, but ready for a nap.

BTW, if you have money lying around and don't know what to do with it, please consider donating to CANTER California. Or any CANTER chapter. Also NorCal Equine Rescue is a good place to give money to. I've been keeping track of this sweet fellow's story eta to add WARNING: some pictures of a very neglected horse! These are not pretty. Latest update is here.
