But it would start with establishing flashbacks to Duncan and Assad meeting sometime in the past in the middle east, CLEARLY. And in modern times, then Duncan has to be mixed up with CTU, OBVIOUSLY. And, well, it contines from there. :D
I found Rand Morgan and Cat and their relationship by far the most interesting thing in the novel
