:D A2A has much that I love with its characters, both likeable and unlikeable, but more than that, it's fantastically written, not only in the individual episodes, but in how they carry an arc for each of series, and there's only 3 so, it's very concise and precise with its mytharc, which I like, A LOT. I'm still in awe of the ending for the first series, and the second series didn't disappoint, and what I'm hearing about the third season has me on pins and needles.

There are things I didn't like. I had to warm up to Alex, initially, and sometimes I didn't like how they used the fact that she was a mother and a woman as a driving force in her choices and actions, but all those issues went away one by one, and they kind of became wrapped up in the plot as well. And by the end of the first series I really loved her a lot. She's a very strong women in an evironment with few women in positions of power, in a world completely alien to her, after suffering a traumatic event and loss, and she manages to hold her own in all that, so I think she's awesome. :) She also has a different point of motivation than Sam, who at the end of the day was a bit too into his manpain.
