Kudos for tenacity! You can be like the rest of us and tastefully beg for food.
Considering I do that already, it can only get better from here, right? Right?
:)
A Highlander CD? what's on it? I see the Alan Parsons hint, and they're never a bad idea. (my default song virus is an APP song)
Some from vids, like Oyster Band and October Project, Dead Can Dance. Neil Finn -- "Last One Standing" and "Sinner" (*love* him!) Two songs from Lamya, whom I've never heard of before and is my new favorite. "I Get Cravings" and "Splitting Atoms" Cat Power -- "Say", which I pimped to Killa. :) Go me! "It's Probably Me", by Sting, which is frightfully perfect for D/M (except it makes me think of Mel Gibson, which could be worse except when you don't want to be thinking of Mel Gibson) The aforementioned Alan Parsons Project -- "Turn a Friendly Card" and "Nothing Left to Lose" Catie Curtis -- "The Kiss That Counted", Carrie Newcomer -- "Tornado Alley", both of whom are new to me. Very nice. The Call -- "Let the Day Begin", Lowen and Navarro -- "I've Had it All", Paul Weller -- "You Do Something to Me", Tracy Chapman -- "You're the One", and Peter Gabriel -- "Love to Be Loved". Oh, and one from someone unknown called "Where Do I Begin?"
A lot of these are new to me, which make me happy. I love finding new artists. You'll love Lamya, if you don't already know them. Her?
