A Multitude of Jacks
Too many Jacks, too little time.
This is the theme of my life right now. I have, since last week, watched the episodes of this current season of 24 about 3 times and likely to watch them even more. It makes me squeal, LIKE A LITTLE GIRL! *koff* I am a complete and utter pretzel about this show. o.0
I really don't have the energy to expend on more television then I already am, but I think it's a losing battle right now, even though I don't think it's actually helping me to have, *counts*, 6 TV shows to watch, including the Trek shows I'm netflixing, and not including HL or WG which are always lingering. Work is proving to be a large barrel of monkey stress and school is not that much better -- you would think that TV would then be a nice stress reliever, but it's NOT. In fact, it's just the opposite, and yet, I keep watching! And don't want to stop, even if I'm sort of a ball of anxiety over here. There's something wrong in this equation.
I'm still fending off Torchwood and Supernatural, despite the ENTIRETY of the internets battering me with Sam/Dean and Captain Jack (Good lord, not another Jack!). I don't have class on Thursdays anymore and each Thursday I'm like, Do I Dare? DO I DARE DISTURB THE UNIVERSE AND WATCH SUPERNATURAL. heh. And, actually, I have tried and I'm still only so so on the thing, which I'm grateful for, because if the reaction of the rest of fandom was my reaction, I would be doomed and that would be bad, because I already have that reaction with FNL and 24, and too much on my plate, as it is. I mean, at this point, I should not be watching any TV at all. I have a metric buttload of work do to.
Someone save me from my life. STAT.

Um, so, have I mentioned I'm going to be pimping Torchwood like a madwoman at Escapade?
(And Torchwood is many things, but stressful is not really one of them.)
