ooooh, shiny
Sep. 18th, 2003 05:26 pmMan, I'm in love with the superduper new mac computers in my school's lab. Preeettyy.
It's windy here. :) Storm's acoming. The wind reminds me of those really windy days that sometimes happen in So. California. I remember nearly being knocked off my feet by the wind once, it was that bad. And another time when after a particularly bad wind storm during the night, waking up the next day and seeing all these big immense trees dead, pulled up by their roots, all over the city. It was really impressive.
For those that might be interested there is a Highlander drabble community,
highlander100. I must admit I'm sort of resentful of drabbles, although the first fan fic I ever wrote was a drabble, mostly because their just too short. Like a tease. And I'm so greedy, it's just unsatisfying. *g* They can be fun to write, though, in that challenging way, especially if you're going for the true drabble that's an entire encapsulated story with a beginning, middle, and end rather than your basic slice-of-life ones. Not that there's anything wrong with slice-of-life but in my opinion they're not as hard to write.
Urp. Wanted to rec two different stories but I've run out of time, distracted as I was by all these shiny new pretty icons.
