I'm not freaking out.
Dec. 20th, 2003 04:42 pmSchool is almost done. This has been, without a doubt, the looooongest semester Ever. I have one last final, on the 23rd (because my school is sadistic) and then I'm really done.
I don't feel like celebrating. As harried as it's been, I'm going to miss the structure of my life here. It was very comforting and I truly enjoyed myself. aaaaack. I wrote and handed in my last paper on friday (staying up till 5am, of course) and instead of feeling relieved (although I was), I felt a bit bereft. I am such a freak. ;)
Anyhoo, I had planned on writing about RotK and about how I felt regarding all three movies, but I. Am. Fried. Serve me up for breakfast, 'cause I'm done, folks. But I will say that RotK was redeeming enough that I was able to let go much of my lingering resentment over the changes they made to Aragorn's character, and all the other stuff that didn't sit right with me. I had wanted to love these movies, and it was sad not to. But all is good, and I look forward to the extended version.
