300+ channels, God help me.

Hi!

So, inadvertently due to the Time Warner buyout of Adelphia in my area (which, to me is like the annoying bully taking over the stupid kid's turf, but whatever) I have a gazillion channels for less than what I was paying before.

And really, this does not mean that Time Warner is better (hissss), just that with the change over I actually paid some attention to what I was paying and realized something was off - the old deal that my other roomie and I had negotiated had expired and, being totally and completely preoccupied with other matters I hadn't really noticed until last week.

Anyway, now I have a horrific # of channels, and for some reason they gave me all of the fricken pay channels, too, (and for the love of Frank, do we need that many variations of the same damn thing?), which I did not want, but now I have. And before any of you say, well, just tell them to get rid of it, it's not so easy, what with how these things work, you need a certain level in order to not pay more for less. It's insidious! I hate them! This might not mean much to most of you who have had all these channels for ages and have tivos and dvrs up the wazoo, but it's waaaaay like a crazy change for me. Honestly, I was perfectly happy with my 50 or so channels. I never needed or wanted more.
