Shatastic!

This is my new favorite word. :D I heard it on my local rock station one morning, used to describe [something as fantastic as] William Shatner doing the rumba (he has regular dance breaks!) on his new quiz show, which I have not watched but I'm kind of glad WS as an outlet to be as ridiculous as he wants to be. Shatastic! you know, I secretly love that guy. he's crazy and I never want to meet him, but he makes me laugh.

What's Shatastic is that I am almost done with this semester! OMG. EEEEE. I mean, I had a great semester, actually. I learned a lot, developed as a writer, enjoyed myself, more or less liked the work I did, but I am *SO* ready for it to be over, I can't even tell you. I have two weeks left and one of those weeks is Thanksgiving and I have no class. WOO. Also, nearly all my work is done, at least the heavy lifting, anyway. I have to polish a longer piece and rewrite two shorter pieces, but this is good. This is great! And then! I get a whole month off (in which I must seriously crack down on Yuletide, duuuuude) before next semester, which is promising to be only marginally less intense. Shatastic!

I other news, I had a funky week. It had highs, it had lows, and I'm very glad it's over. I haven't watched any live TV this week and I'm not really wanting to devote the time to do so. I am persnickety.
