always late to the party or how i learned to love The Orville

There are so many things I would like to natter on about but lack the focus so this is just a drive by post to say I've finally gotten around to watching The Orville now that it's on Hulu and what the hecking heck. It has NO business being as good as it is.

I was expecting Family Guy but in space, and nothing wrong with that, I admit I loved Family Guy. Instead, it's Star Trek but less 90s, has that Family Guy sense of humor which can be both low brow and high brow at the same time, and Adrienne Palicki being better than everyone else. Star Trek but minus the Star Trek. This should offend me. But I'm totally charmed.

Also there was a thirty second cameo from Carlos Bernard looking gd handsome as hell and I am not recovered.
