Apr. 12th, 2025 08:20 pmI know The Pitt is the premiere medical show on the scene at the moment, and it is an excellent show. They better not make me wait long for season 2! But as much as I love The Pitt, I am also completely taken by Doctor Odyssey (on Hulu). It's ER meets The Love Boat, while The Pitt is more ER meets 24.
Doctor Odyssey is so fun and exciting. It has a built in OT3! Fun guest stars, exciting action! I was holding my breath all the way through the shark episode haha. But it also isn't as serious as The Pitt is. Also the 3 leads are all so gorgeous. HEART EYES. I like all the weird medical stuff that pops up. Even the relationship drama is not too annoying.
If someone had told me a couple years ago I would become medical drama fan, I would have said never not ever. Goes to show me! Also let's blame George Clooney via Danny Ocean, because I decided to revisit ER after my Ocean's 11 renaissance and he's totally the reason why.
