Yes! Agree completely. DT's best work was always when he pulled his energy in and really channeled it, but there was little subtley. I will say, though, that Smith hasn't been challenged the same way that DT was repeatedly during his tenure. So far, there have been moments here and there where the scripts for series 5 have called for some range, and Smith was *great* in all of them, but this series doesn't have the highs and lows that the previous 4 had, imo.
