Three posts in less than 24 hours! Man, look at me go. Someone hold me back.
This post has even less of a purpose than the previous one. I'm really just posting so that I can use the above subject line, which is a line of dialogue, quite possibly my favorite line of dialogue (at least right this minute). I'd offer something to the first person who guessed which film it's from, but that's hardly a challenge since I know that half of you know this film backwards and forwards. ;)
Was supposed to see Constantine again tonight with the 'rents but it never happened. Very sad. I've been thinking of that film ever since I saw it last week.
I have 4 stories to rec: 3 HL and 1 PotC:
When the King Enjoys His Own Again, by
fabu. A lovely flash of Jack/Elizabeth.
Fishy, Fishy, Fishy, by
unovis_lj. Written for the picture challenge thingie. This brilliant little piece does something most fanfics don't do, which is play with narrative and risky style choices. I love it. And it has Duncan, Amanda, and Methos in it.
Winter, by
wickedwords. Also written for the picture challenge thingie. A look at a moment in Duncan's past.
The Tending, by MacNair. If you love Connor read this story. If you love Connor and Duncan, read this story. This story killed me. It just broke my heart. It's a sequel/companion piece to Seascapes, which I recced on my journal previously.
