two more things about Lost

I rewatched the episode (courtesy of ABC.com) and have a couple of thoughts:
I wonder about Juliet. I think she may be the Other that will descent from the rest, although I don't think that means she's going to be good, or on the side of our guys, or anything, really. But she's clearly not happy at the beginning of the episode - she's discontented. First, she looks tired and out of sorts. Then, she burns her hand. After which, at the book club meeting (which incidentally I thought was brilliant), she and that other guy are arguing about her choice in books and before she's cut off by the earthquake she was arguing about freedom of choice "on this --". On this Island! Freedom of choice in this "community"! So, chaffing under Henry Gale's leadership. Very interesting.
I'm more firmly believing that Kate has been compromised, although most likely not out of her own free will. First, we don't see her after her "breakfast" with Henry Gale until she shows up in the cage opposite Sawyer. Second, although I totally believe she would a) try and get those cuffs off her and b) that the Other's would man handle her roughly, those marks on her wrists are totally suspicious. Somethings not clicking there. Thirdly, why didn't she say to Sawyer, who clearly had to work hard to get that fish biscuit and who hasn't had anything to eat himself, that she'd had something to eat? Did that ring an alarm for anyone else?
