Summary: Somewhere along the way, it became less about staying one step ahead of the hunters, and more about living, about choosing your weapon and choosing your ground.
Sequel to Missed Connections. Written for the HL_Chronicles Timestamp Challenge (20 years). Duncan and Methos's lives after going to live on the de Valincourts' island in the Caribbean.
This story begins a year or so after the end of Missed Connections, which was written to be contemporaneous with our own time (i.e. 2009), and ends 20 years later. It uses the final part of Missed Connections as a lead in.
