well I had false start because quite frankly I wasn't certain I wanted to go through all 15 seasons and I was mostly curious about whether I would like Castiel or not (verdict still not concluded on that front). Through fannish osmosis, I already knew I would like Sam and Dean even not having watched anything of the show before, but as a pairing it's not a dynamic that works for me much (though that doesn't mean I don't like it! I'm just more of a not-having-grown-up-with-my-soul-mate person. To me sam/dean is just a more intense version of steve/bucky, but you know i love steve/bucky too, just not like otp level of love). But then I decided to be a good fan and watch from the beginning! I am a completist at heart! Anyhoo, with down time over the holidays (and when I wasn't head buried writing) I motored through the apocalypse. Which was mostly underwhelming, sadly. But i bet you're not surprised my favorite part were the horseman. Death in particular. :D There are snatches of this show i find compelling. He was one of them.
Sorry, rambling. I don't want to return to work tomorrow. This is me avoiding having to go to bed lol. *cries*
I'lll probably write a whole post about my spn adventure when I finish with the series. I am enjoying it, though I can tell my enjoyment is no where near true obsession level. At least not yet. I find it to be the boy version of Charmed, but with higher stakes, a shit ton more angst, and a lot more beheadings and artful blood splatters. To be fair, it's more interesting than Charmed, too.
