Oh, that's funny. Would you believe I only really watched Season 5 this year? When it aired the first time, I was so embittered and alienated from the show, I stopped watching early in S5 and only later came back and watched from the Horsemen on. (I was out of the fandom from mid-S4 until halfway through S6.) So I had never watched the bulk of S5 until quarantine.
I personally think the show is three separate shows. The first one was S1-3. The second one was S4-7. Then came the current/most recent version of the show. They all have their charms, and I've been fannish about lots of stuff in the later seasons, but the passionate obsession died for me after S3.
