I never bought the ending of "The Menagerie". I know they were bound by the existing footage and what they could do with it... but Chris Pike never seemed to me like a man who would ever accept fantasy over reality. Hell, that's the entire point of "The Cage". And Vina just makes me *shudder*, tho I do think the actor was amazing in the role.
