Remus Lupin shops at my local Barnes & Nobles

There I was on my lunch break wandering around Barnes & Nobles, as I am wont to do, when, on my way down the escalator, I look down and over to the other side of the shop (it's all open in the middle) and what do I see but a man who looks like David Thewlis riding up the up escalator.

So, I'm there thinking, man, it's Remus! And I'm sort of happy and sad thinking of Remus Lupin. This lasts about a second, because while I'm still staring at this Thewlis-lookalike I realize, DUDE, it IS David Thewlis.

There was much internal squealing.

And we passed each other on the escalator. I was on my way out of the store and already late to return to work so I didn't let myself follow him around like a love-sick puppy. But it was a close thing. If nothing else, I would have wanted to hear him speak.

He looked totally delicious with scruffy hair and wearing glasses.

*sigh*

I don't normally lose my cool around celebrities, but seeing Thewlis *was* nice. I sincerely hope he realizes he needs another book, say sometime around 1pm tomorrow. heh. He should bring his friend Gary along. :D
