Oh life, you wacky crazy thing.
May. 7th, 2008 05:23 pm--Still haven't been able to fully unpack, due mostly to lack of certain furniture items like a desk (got rid of my old one but haven't bought a new one yet) and uncertainty on where what should go where. Also, I want to minimize the presence of a desk in my room because I really don't like it but I'm not yet at a position in life where I can afford a big enough place with enough space for an office. Bah.
--The above includes the fact that I haven't yet called the cable company, so still internetless and sans TV. The internet I miss, although the TV I don't miss at all.
--Work is being very work-ish. I resent this. I want to list all of my many issues with work but then I would have to lock this post and I'd rather not, but trust me, work is crawling up my butt.
--My birthday's this month, and then two days later I graduate. *big eyes*
--Since returning from Peru, my car has been in the shop a total of FIVE times. Yes, you read that right. FIVE. As in 5. Today I was at the dealership from 7am to 2pm. Pity me! It took a while to diagnose the problem (miss-firing code = bad coils! who knew?) and it required me taking it to a mazda dealership to fix it because my preferred mechanics couldn't figure it out (obviously, since it took FIVE TIMES) (and here I cross fingers that it is indeed fixed please God thank you). Luckily, the problem was covered by my warranty, although I still had to get all this other maintenance stuff done that's costly. bah. ETA: Damn it, the check engine light came back on. *sob*

Date: 2008-05-08 04:24 pm (UTC)Work -- I dunno, the good vibes have to be very general, there, since I don't know specifics.
Oh, well, it's nothing specific, just general aggravation. *wry smile*
