SJA is fantastic, IMO. I dragged my feet on watching it for the longest time but now I can't wait for S2.

I'm of the camp going, "Well, at least his issues, tropes and annoyingly repetitive tics will be different than RTD's issues, tropes and annoying repetitive tics." I like his writing style a lot more but then, I already have a personal prejudice against grandiose arcs and in favor of "anthology"-style stand-alones (one reason I liked "Midnight" so much, speaking of RTD), and, you know, I think RTD has ridden this pony as far as it can go for the time being. As they say, time(y-wimey) will tell.
