Goodness me!
May. 30th, 2008 03:24 pmNot only does the CBS website currently offer all three seasons of Star Trek: The Original Series for free, you can also watch all SEVEN seasons of MacGyver! And Twin Peaks!
This is very bad news for my work load. People, do you realize what this means?? MacGyver, any time I want him, at work, just a click away!
*quiver*

In other news, I have almost posted on a variety of topics but my attention span is at its all time low, can't really be arsed to be coherent for the time it takes to compose a post.
Hmmm, lessee, there's the news about Steven Moffat taking over DW which is old already. Seems most people are happy about it. Me, since I had no issues with Davies, I'm rather sad, actually, without being apprehensive for the change.
What else... Oh, I've been catching up on season 2 Friday Night Lights! Which I LOVE OMG. I forgot just how much I love this show, and these characters. After watching spindly geeky doctors flying around in blue boxes, it's kind of wonderful watching a bunch of strapping young men beat themselves up on a football field and fling their small town issues around at each other. Yes! Oh and Coach Taylor! And Landry, omg Landry. *wibble*
Not that I'd give up spindly geeky doctors who fly around in blue boxes, just to clarify. *ahem*
I completley snoozed through
misspamela's Top 20 Hottest Fictional Characters. Results found here, here, and here. And raw results for everyone here.
Sort of interesting to see where popularity goes. Love seeing so many female characters in the top 5. Dude, Fitzwilliam Darcy -- well, of course he'd make the list :D :D. Rather shocked and appalled Duncan MacLeod is so low, poor fellow, he's all forgotten! *pets him* I still think you're hot, my lovely highlander. *blows him kisses*. And totally bemused that the only Weasley on the master list is Percy. Huh? Also, why no Captain Kirk??
Also, vaguely wishing I found Dean Winchester more attractive. :/
Oh, and I watched and am all caught up on Lost:
Things I loved:
--Desmond & Penny: My friend and I were practically hyperventilating when Desmond almost died, but then he didn't (and I then forgave Jack for being an ass. At least he's good to have around when my object of affection is almost dying.) and then there was a boat and the boat had Penny! And so they lived happily ever after, or at least they'd better or I'm going to be very put out!
--Sun is my hero. Because I rather stopped watching Lost for most of this year until catching up just recently, I had practically forgotten how darn awesome and amazing she is. I love her! I want to be like her when I grow up! I want her cajones, man, because she's got a pair, and she's stylish and beautiful at the same time. She broke my heart, crying out for Jin, who is most certainly NOT DEAD (I'm really thinking he isn't!).
--disappearing island is cool!
--Time traveling bunnies!! I just about died when Ben (or was it the video?) said it had to do with Time and Space. I was like OMG NOT YOU TOO, LOST. bwah.
--I don't know what it is about her, but I'm sort of digging Charlotte. I think she's beautiful and I can't stop staring at her when ever she's on screen. She's totally weird, though, with these rather unnerving blue eyes. I wonder who she is!
Things wot weirded me out:
--I'm totally and completley weirded out by Claire's "defection" or whatever it is. And Jack's and her father, and the whole Jacob thing, and what the fuck?!? I don't understand! *big eyes* Although I do think it's kind of a cool story for Claire, who was totally not being used as a character at all.
--I'm also rather fond of Faraday, but I'm really worried about him and the other people on the boat! What are they going to do??
--I hope they lay off the Hurley man. Leave him alone!
Things I'm so over already:
--I swear, I feel like stalking Cuse and Lindelof and *begging* them to quit it with the Manly Jack Pain already. I. Do. Not. Care. And my not caring is sliding quickly to active loathing. Just when I think I like the guy again, he proves himself selfish and an ass once again. Pulease.

In other other news, I'm all set for my first riding eval at The Equestrian Group yayz.
Oh, and Roomie and I have a kitty! Bailey is his name, and he's v. handsome and he knows it. bwah. I need pictures....

In other other other news, Doctor Who returns this weekend, THANK GOD. *clings*
