Courtesy of bookslut blog, I amused myself this morning by reading several excerpts from a novel that, apparently, Lynne Cheney wrote several years ago. Again I am amazed at what can get published, and damn, if it doesn't make me like her just a little bit. heh. My favorite part was the jacket cover blurb, but there are several very amusing excerpts.

Totally. And my friend tells me Cheney has a lesbian daughter that no one knows about. There is some serious controling of information going on.

She's not totally unknown -- I had read about the Cheneys' daughter before -- but they're pretty quiet about it. Which is MORE obnoxious, IMHO -- these are people who, in their private lives and thoughts, know better and still trade on homophobia for their political gain.
