where oh where has my wireless net gone?
Jan. 29th, 2004 09:19 amMy wireless router is on its way, speeding to me quickly over the us mail. I am the picture of patience.... not. *g* I had made the mistake of waiting to order it first thing because I got waylaid by my dad wanting to take me to Fry's (which is HUGE. Holy cow.) but I couldn't handle how much more expensive it was there, and marched my dad right back home to order it online. Total before rebate came to less than what it would be store bought before taxes. yowsa.
Meanwhile, it's just been me and my dad here, since my mom's gone off to some retreat do-hickie thingie for the week. And well, I may be driven crazy. Yes. Add my mother into the mix and my sanity may not last long enough for me to get my own apartment. :) Love them, but, huh-boy. We shall see how long the promise of rent free living holds out over having my life back to normal. hm.
I've caught up on Alias -- ( spoilers here )
I also started watching season 1 of Highlander over again starting with The Gathering and ended up just snickering at the tragedy that is Duncan's hair. I can forgive the basic badness of the episode since the show was new and untried and all that (and because, aside from terrible pacing and some horrific acting by Richard Moll, they all do remarkably well). But those hair-extensions are truly painful. I should learn to just skip over that ep, but I love Connor and Duncan together, and we get so little of that.
