hafital: (PR - Tim Gunn)
I woke up this morning to the grating sounds of George W. Bush talking about the finanial crisis (which, hello, was not a surprise. I've been braced for banks to start folding since last year.) coming through my open window. Someone in my building was listening to him loud enough for me to be subjected. I was mostly unconcious, but still! Not the thing one wants to wake up to.

~~~
Thing that makes me happy: Doctor & Donna Moments to Reflect. Every day the [livejournal.com profile] doctor_donna comm has a different Doctor & Donna moment, and each one fills me with a lotta love and glee, even the sad ones.
~~~

Project Runway (wee spoiler for next week, only what was shown in the previews.) )

~~~
From the writer/director's info:
An abridged history of American-centric warfare, from WWII to present day, told through the foods of the countries in conflict.
Warning: Although this is done all with food, it is a bit disturbing, particularly the 911 part, just fyi[1], but well worth watching. Food Fight website. Also a go here for a list of the food used and the countries they represent.
found via Ze Frank.
[1] At least, it was disturbing for me. Who would have thunk that a tower made of burgers collapsing would be so haunting.
