An update, of sorts. Just because I feel like it's been ages although it probably hasn't.

It's early in the morning (for me) and I'm dressed in my riding stuff. I have a lesson in a little more than an hour.

I've been downing British TV of all sorts and it's way fun. I think possibly the BBC is my new fandom, with a side order of ITV.

I called in sick yesterday. I have been feeling poorly for about, well, months actually, without being sick, and the reason as it turns out is that I'm lactose intolerant (all of a sudden. Well, not all of a sudden but it feels that way.) In any case, that's not really the reason I called in sick. I just had a lot of stuff to do. And calling in sick is awesome. I'm thinking of doing it again after my riding lesson for the luxury of NOT having anything to do today.

I did manage this weekend to finally sign up for hlh_shortcuts. Yay Highlander. The big question is will I remember how to write it? hahaha.

I watched the Emmy's (I hate award shows, but somehow I always end up watching them on the night because I'm with people who do. argh.) and thought it was LAME. LAME-O. I love Heidi Klum (although I can't say the same for the rest of the hosts), but dear lord the hosting thing was painful. The awards were predictable. Although Jon Stewart, Stephen Cobert, Steve Carell, *and* Ricky Gervais are made of love. All four of those guys should have hosted, or at least the Daily Show Alumni.
