And down I go again. boom.
Aug. 22nd, 2009 05:33 pmMuch excitement in the horseback riding arena today. One uppity horse + One skittish horse = tifah on the ground. boom. I don't know what was going on with this other lady's horse in class today, but for some reason he flipped out and remembered he was an ex-racehorse. Naturally, Skittles was disconcerted. The first time Arrow flipped out, I managed to keep Skittles under some control just barely, although I had to dismount to fix my tweaked saddle. But the second time, the second time Skittles was already a wee bit nervous, and swerved in such away that I just couldn't keep my balance. The saddle was totally on the side. I'm fine! Not even very sore. I was mostly annoyed; I wish I could have managed to stay on through all that. As it was the lady couldn't get Arrow to stop so round and round they went pretty fast until finally my instructor managed to catch Arrow's bridle. Arrow? What up, dude?
I've ridden Arrow before. I thought he was great. Apparently he doesn't like group classes. Thoroughbreds. God love 'em.
Then, I trained for 4 hours.
OMG TIRED.
*collapse*
eta: by happy happenstance, I'm getting a massage tomorrow! Convenient.
