Jun. 14th, 2010 09:02 amWas out of town this weekend in Vegas with some lovely barn girls (as I like to call them, girls I know from the barn), had an AWESOME time dancing until 6 in the morning (srsly), I think I shocked a lot of people who wouldn't know to look at me that I like to dance, haha, and I bought an awesome faux turquoise leather jacket and wore the hell out of it the entire weekend, and then flew back on Sunday with only three hours sleep (jetsetter!) to catch Zenyatta, the best horse in the entire world, race in the 2010 Handicap Vanity at Hollywood Park.
Gave me a heart attack! Undefeated, 17 wins in a row, that's history right there. She's surpassed all the records. I LOVE HER. I was right at the winner's circle, right on the edge of the dirt, with a whole bunch of people and we were all screaming and shouting and after she won all we could talk about, besides her, was how we were all shaking and our hearts were still pounding and how she'd given us a heart attack and that she was the best mare in the fucking world. Nothing like seeing well heeled ladies and gentlemen lose their shit over a horse. It was kind of hilarious.
Meant to post last night but all I could do was stare at the screen. Also, I smashed my finger in the car door and you don't know how hard it is to type missing one ring finger!
