This weekend was the weekend for birthdays, it seems. :) *throws confetti*

Happy Belated Birthday to yahtzee63, destina, movies_michelle, and suzecarol! I hope you all had cake. Or something equally yummy. :)

I was mostly MIA this weekend. I went to IKEA, bought a dresser and a bookcase, proceeded to build said dresser and bookcase into the wee hours of the night. And then finally unpacking after *months* of living in (un)organized chaos. I'm bruised and dented from moving heavy, ungainly, large and cumbersome packages hither and yon, but man, is it GREAT to have books again! God, I had no idea how much a relief it would be to get rid of those boxes. Not to mention being able to put my clothing away. I feel almost human again. wheeeee.

Hey! We went to IKEA yesterday too! Small world! :-> And my god, I've never SEEN so many people under one roof at the same time.

We didn't buy much, though. We were looking for a small-sized hidabed, but they were all a little too big to fit in the spot we've got open. But we did get a new living room table!
