~~ I'm working 3 nights a week at the equestrian center, and riding both Sat and Sun. d'oh!

~~ I'm taking a Western Pleasure class! I've been kind of wanting to for a while now. Still continuing with English because its useful. Still have no clue what I'm doing with my life, but at least it's keeping me occupied.

~~ I'm rewatching Leverage. It's such comfortable show, completely imperfect, and kind of ridiculous, but gosh is it cute. I want to pat its head. The fanfic is disappointing, though. shrift's story is a gem, but most others fall short. *is sad panda* Of course, the show's not even through its second season yet. sigh.

~~ sekret to geekturnedvamp, started going over it again, still a few things I want to patch up. I'm rolling my sleeves up and getting dirty. lol.

~~ I want to do the meme where tv shows and fandoms are like ex-boyfriends and lovers, but I can't find it. halp?

~~ Finally, after a year of negotiations, layoffs, a bunch of deeply annoying emails from staff members who I am uncharitably labeling as hypocrites, and more meetings than you can shake a stick at, the staff at my work has a newly ratified contract with management. The most immediate shiny part of this contract is that we get a retroactive raise from Jan 1, '09. whoo. It's not the full raise we would have gotten if the economy hadn't tanked, but it's better than 0. I feel particularly fortunate, however, in that I was promoted so I got more of a raise than many others, and they're giving me more money on top of that, as well. Not a whole heck of a lot, but more is more.

~~ My monster HL story is out in the world and learning to walk. *g* I'm very grateful for the feedback its received. HL is pretty much a dormant fandom, so I wasn't expecting a lot of comments, but its got a respectable amount, so that's nice.

~~ I'm signed up for the dw_femslash ficathon (I seem to only write DW fic in which the Doctor does not appear. I've yet to actually write him. I'm okay with this) and hlh_shortcuts AND I plan on doing yuletide. Geez, glutton for punishment much?

~~ Speaking of yuletide, OMG WHAT WILL I NOMINATE. WHAT???? I CAN'T DECIDE. *flaps hands* I don't know what I want. *wibble*
