Day 04 - Your favorite show ever
The answer to this question is clearly Highlander: The Series. Not only because I like it so much, but also because my interaction and engagement with it can not be compared. No other show has taken up so much of my mental space, without my reacting against it -- it was probably the timing of when I got into Highlander as a fan coupled with the fact that I'd already watched it since the 1985 movie long ago, but I honestly cannot hang around a TV show that long, with consistent feelings for it, but Highlander doesn't seem to have that problem. It's also brought me tons of friendships and developed me as a writer. The show has scope and depth, and is limitless -- it's not a boxed in show, there's so much room in there -- and I mean that in regards to fannish activity but also just a casual viewer of the show. Back in the day when I just watched it on TV like any other person, what made me want to watch (aside from my raging crush on Duncan MacLeod) was the concept of Immortality, the tragedy of it as well as the adventure, and that remains true to this day.
Close runners up for this answer: Star Trek: Voyager Really, this show sits right up next to Highlander as favorite show, and only surpasses it sometimes because I associate no angst with ST: Voy; it's pure love. LOVE. And as the years go by, I love all of it more and more, even the funky later seasons. It just fills me with happiness. It's like a good snuggle. :D

2. The scene where it looks like he's having an organism in a thunderstorm at the end of every episode is pretty hot.
