Memes and Escapade
Feb. 27th, 2012 07:29 pmFirst TV show I had self-insertion fantasies about:
I'm not entirely sure which one came first, but it was either Little House in the Prairie, The Outsiders (book), or MacGyver. :D
First fandom in which I interacted (online and in person) with other fans:
Star Trek: The Original Series. I had been introduced to X-Files fan fiction and some parts of the X-Files fandom before hand, but the first time I ever actually participated (in this case with the ASCEM newsgroup) was with ST:TOS K/S fandom. This was in 1999.
Pairing in the first slash fanfiction I read:
Mulder/Skinner! And quite the eye-opener it was, too.
First RPS/RPF I read:
Hm, I'm not sure. I've never really read RPS regularly at all, and if I read any it was just to sample. Probably popslash.
First fanfiction I read that made me think, YES, this is exactly the kind of fanfiction I'd like to write...
Well, I don't know if my brain interpreted it quite as "fanfiction I'd like to write," because I actually never consciously thought I could or would write fanfiction until I suddenly was writing fanfiction *g*, but I distinctly remember reading
Pairing in the first fanfiction I wrote:
Kirk/Spock
First OTP:
To be honest, probably Mulder/Scully. But I forget this and usually say Kirk/Spock.
First RPS/F OTP
I don't believe I have one.
First fannish friend I met in person.
Either
First character I formally roleplayed:
I've never done this!

In other news, I took all of last week off work to do some editing on original stuff, which was good and relatively productive. I also took a few riding lessons during the week and jumped my first little x-rail with a sturdy little white pony called Sharky. yay!
Then I attended
But the important part was getting to see and hug my friends, all of whom I very much miss all ready. Love you guys. xoxo.
Sunday afternoon I left the con and spend the evening and night with my best friend S, who lives not that far away from where the con was. That was nice. I got to cuddle my BaileyCat some and S and I saw that Denzel film The Book of Eli which was creepy and odd, so that's good.
So, lovely week and weekend.
However, I am beyond excited to sleep in my own bed tonight.
