my television schedule
May. 22nd, 2004 08:52 amThis is what I'll be watching next fall:
Monday: Las Vegas -- Fun show. Gorgeous cast. Decent acting. If they can stick to what they do well, and not get ahead of themselves, this show will be around for a while. I'm also not wild about how they bring in a big name star just about every episode, but whatever. Danny McCoy is my tv boyfriend.
Wednesday: Smallville and West Wing -- although I may wander away on both. I have a tendency to forget about Wednesday tv.
Sunday: Alias -- when it, you know, finally comes back on. January!?! Goodness.
Anything new I'll watch if I catch it and like it. I'm terrible at tv watching, so I basically have to trip over it.
What I won't be watching:
Reality TV. For all the good it'll do, which is nothing, I've decided to be contrary and stage a one person boycott. I know enough people in the industry and around town and such to know that the trend towards Reality TV is slowly squeezing the life out of Hollywood and the industry at a large. You want to know why there's no good tv shows left? Why genre TV seems to be on the out? Reality TV. It's not the only reason, but its a big one.
