I need a time turner.

Okay, as much as I love VVC it could not be at a more inconvenient time for me this year. I'm still going, but it's making my life difficult! I've got a million things to take care of before school starts this coming Monday and no time to do it in.
*mild panic*
Well, I feel better complaining, anyway.

In other news, the lovely
melina123 has successfully managed to pimp me into Battlestar Galactica, the wench. No small feat, let me tell you. heh. I've seen all of season 1, including the beginning mini series. Especially with the complexity they're going for and the wonderful acting, and the overall look of the show. I love Starbuck. She's fascinating to watch, for some reason. And also Commander Adama, Apollo, the President (long have I admired Mary MacDonell in everything she's ever in!) and everyone else. All the characters are interesting and I've become invested in each of their stories. I'm all about Starbuck/Apollo (I've seemed to have misplaced my slash habit. How did that happen?). Although, I can tell, for me, watching BSG is going to be less about the pairings and more about the whole journey of the show, 'cause, you know me, I can't watch a show unless I like the whole show. *g*
And this is all by way of saying omigod! the season 1 finale! eeeeee! I totally did not see that coming! I was as shocked as I was with the Alias season 2 finale, which is to say pretty damn practically knocked off my butt. I think I cried (or at least had to daintily dab my eyes) at Lee Adama's face after his father got shot, not to mention my own reaction to Cmdr. Adama's blood pooling all over the place. (Yay Edward James Almos! Yay for hispanic actors. woo!)
So, eeee! *g* I haven't seen any of season 2 and nobody better spoil me. I suppose this means I will have to, like, pay attention to the SciFi channel now.
