hafitalI've been promoted! Wahoo. :) Finally, after weeks of being in limbo, my boss called me in to her office to tell me I got the job. Yay! I aluded to this in a previous post, but basically what happened was a domino affect of various people being fired and hired, etc etc, regime change, blah blah blah, resulting in an open position that I've had my eye on for a while, which I finally got. :)
This position is no walk in the park, either. I mean, I'm not saving babies or anything, but the money is about 10 grand more, a bit more responsibility and I'll be handling claims and such. Apparently I blew them away (if I do say so myself) with the answers I gave in response to hypothetical fact patterns they had us prepare for the interview, which, being a freak, I rather enjoyed doing.

Of course, ask me again in a few months and tell me how I feel about the job then. heh. *g*
