24 -- edging on to dinner time
Mar. 7th, 2007 11:03 amSo, I thought that having Assad officially dead would make watching this show less stressful, having the sad part over with. Only, that's not happening!
Stuff I liked:
- You should have seen me when Tom Lennox turned in Reid and Carson to the secret service. I was alone in my room, watching on my computer, the lights off, ear buds in my ears. I literally almost leaped out of my bed, tossing my computer to the floor. \O/ There was silent whooping. Of course it all went to shit before the end of the episode, but man, I loved that moment.
- I love Jack in his suit, with Logan. That creepy conversation in the limo. EEEE. Way to grind it in there, mr worst president ever. (although V.P Powers Boothe is gunning for that title)
- I LOVED OMG Jack defending Assad. *weeps* And his look of horror hearing about the assassination attempt. Poor guy -- he should get used to this sort of thing in this universe, but how to do you get used to something like that?
- I know everyone and their grandmother was going "no no no!" when Jack broke into the consulate, even Logan was omg what the heck are you doing, but I kind of love that about Jack. I loved that he convinced the russian guard to call CTU. I don't think Jack is thinking all together straight (heh), he's like, almost on his game, but not quite, and you can see it in some of his desperation. *pets him*
- Jack speaks Russian! language kink! yayz.
- Yay Morris.
- As much as it makes me ill and nervous, and even though I keep reading huge amounts of criticism for much of the plot this season, I'm eating this stuff up like candy. I think the Washington DC storyline is creepy as all fuck, but it's sort of eery in its twistings and turnings. It's, thankfully, pretty far fetched. God, I hope so, anyway. *big eyes*
Stuff that made me ill:
- I'm not going to be okay until Assad is cleared.
- I'm not going to be okay until President Wayne is conscious! EEEE. And he and Jack talk on the phone again.
- Compared to Fayed or Gredenko, or Russian Consulate Denethor, I think V.P. Powers Boothe is the scariest person on my TV. He's even scarier if he's not really a bad guy.
Stuff I didn't like:
- Where the heck is Milo?? meep.
