He was discharged from the hospital yesterday evening. He's still pretty weak, and recovering, but they didn't do dialysis so he must not have irrevocably damaged his kidneys. And hopefully won't. A home nurse will be coming out every 2 days to draw blood and check his vitals, and make sure the catheter is free of infection, etc etc. Probably in a week or two they'll do a biopsy. So, he's home. He's much better, his blood pressure is down to normal. He's lost a lot of weight (hospitals man. They really kill ya at the same time that they're saving your life). He's on four kinds of medication. He's might go back to his former self at one point, but he's really taken a toll with this. Poor guy.
