My dear London
Jul. 7th, 2005 01:40 pmI've been living in a self-imposed vacuum for a few weeks now, not watching tv, not paying any attention to much of anything, just exerting myself enough to pay attention to things like buying groceries and paying bills, going to work, some school stuff, etc etc. So, it took about half the day before the news of the London explosions to finally infiltrate. I am, of course, horrified. My thought and prayers go out to everyone affected.
I loved London. I loved the tube. I loved the atmosphere, the weather, the history. If there is one other city in the world outside of NYC and LA that I would happily live in, it's London.
I know how people are feeling this morning, in London, and it breaks my heart.
