Vid songs in every day life

A few days ago I was in Whole Foods puttering around when all of a sudden they started playing We Build This City Another Sunday (er,link to the vid, anyone?) over their system. So I'm wandering the aisles grinning like a goof visualizing sparkly McKay and Ronan and Shepard, and the Wraith chick singing at that one point. I could see the vid. I didn't want to go to the check out before the song ended. lol.
And, a few days before that I was at a party held by one of my writing teachers. At one point I'm walking up some stairs from the living room to the kitchen (it's a split level house on a hill) and all of a sudden Mundian To Bach Ke starts playing. And, you know, every time I hear that song outside of a vid show or in relation to the vid, I have this profound moment of disconnect, and feel strangely like someone came and *stole* the song from the vid, or something. heh.
Sometimes when I'm in a public setting with friends, like at a restaurant or in mall or where ever, and a vid song starts playing over the radio, it's like a little secret I have myself and I'm like NO ONE KNOWS THIS SONG IS REALLY A VID and for some reason that strikes me as significant. Usually, especially if I'm in the middle of a conversation, my mind is then running in two different tracks, one for the vidsong, and the other for the conversation. This doesn't happen too often since most vid songs tend not to be the sort that are played in restaurants, but it has happened often enough.
In contrast, for those vid songs that are heavily played on the radio, I tend to forget they're vid songs, and only sometimes go, oh yeah, this is a vid song! And then I remember the vid, and then sometimes I have to go hunt down the vid to watch it again.
Interestingly enough, before Vividcon 2008, the radio played the Flobot's song Handlebars all the time. I mean, I would hear it at least once a day, and then I had bought it, too, so I heard it all the time on my iPod and stuff, and EVERY time I heard it I thought to myself, man, this is THE song for the Doctor. Now, post VVC 2008, and post
flummery's vid Handlebars, it's like the radio just knows that song belongs to that vid because I never hear it anymore. haha. It's like the universe knows that song is now Doctor Who related forever and ever and ever.
Anyone else have funny vidsongs in real life situations come up?
