No one puts Baby in the corner!

I rode this funny little horse called Cowabunga yesterday. He was real sweet, very sensitive to the bit so I really had to learn how to use my legs, because otherwise he'd dive into the center of the ring. :D
A few pictures of me on Chester, for those interested. Chester is a very lovely gentleman, kind of spooky, which is sort of funny and alarming at the same time, and once I convince him to get going, he does! lol. The day this pictures were taken, we actually weren't having a lesson, but taking a ride around the perimeter of the equestrian center.

In other news, the word has come down from up high that we have a new Doctor chosen. That's good. I realized as I watched the interwebs 'splode, that I'm more heartbroken and set on edge over losing companions too quickly than changing Doctors because I was only mildly curious over all of this hullaballoo. The Doctor is always there, no matter if he's different. Anyhoo, this new bloke is young, which I won't say I was thrilled with, but I *am* curious about River's comments in SitL/FoD when she looks at the Doctor and says how young he is. I've seen a few people harp on how this automatically means Moffat's dropped the River storyline, since Matt Smith is so young, etc., or varying comments of that sort, that Eleven may not be the doctor Moffat had conjured up for that episode. Some of these comments are either snarky or hopeful or whatever, depending on whether the person hates or loves Moffat. haha. But, River's not saying the Doctor *looks* young. She looks into his eyes and says he *is* younger than she's ever seen him. I dunno, folks, I mean, that was one of the great things about Ten, that he looked so young and was so old. Eleven is fully capable of doing the same thing, and with even more of a baby face -- he actually seems a bit more serious and less... giddy? than Ten, like he might just be able to carry off more gravitas than Ten who was just kind of shouty. We'll see! Granted I only watched about twenty seconds of this new guy's interview. I personally sincerely and truly hope we do see River's Doctor in Eleven, the one that's suppose to send armies running. Should be fun! whee!
