snap back to reality
Aug. 22nd, 2005 10:29 pmoh, there goes gravity, oh, there goes rabbit...
Back home! Safe and sound, all in one piece. It was a relatively smooth flight home (which I knew would be because our pilot's name was Captain MacLeod. Hee!), despite the apparent strike going on with Northwest Airlines. Vividcon was a blast, as always. I watched many many (many!) vids and got to talk to all my favorite people and meet lots of new and fabulous people. I miss everyone already.
I am beyond tired, spiraling downwards towards oblivion. As soon as I got home from the airport I had to turn around and go to the school campus and get a bunch of tedious stuff done, like getting my ID and checking my financial aid and whatnot. And then I had a three hour class with a very interesting teacher, but man, I almost had to pinch myself not to just lay my head down and go to sleep right there.
zzzzz.
I will cobble together some sort of con report eventually.

Date: 2005-08-23 11:13 am (UTC)I can't imagine having to sit through a 3-hour class and stay alert after all the not sleeping you did this weekend. So sorry I had to get up so early yesterday morning! I hope you can make up for the sleep deprivation this week. Poor sweetie.
Also, Terence Trent D'Arby = "Wishing Well." In case you were still wondering, like me.
I miss you!

Date: 2005-08-23 08:49 pm (UTC)*g* It was a bit of a mixed blessing that I didn't actually have to think in the class, I just had to listen. So, while I didn't have to do any work, I had to at least look alert, but I would have been more alert if I had to participate in any way. heh. I think I yawned a lot.

Yes! Also, the two Roxette songs I was thinking of were "It Must Have Been Love" (but it's all over now...) and "The Look" (she's got the look!)
hee!
