Doctor Who WooHoo
Apr. 5th, 2010 12:14 pm--Aww, Eleven was all right. :) A bit Tennent-ish like someone said somewhere, but thankfully less shouty (srsly), and less, um... ferret-like. what? I loved 10, you know I did.... And, like most actors really, his finer moments where he truly shined where when he contained that frenetic energy. For every Doctor, when they do that, that's my Doctor.
--I am predisposed to adore most every companion, and Amelia/Amy Pond is no exception. Actually, the moment where I truly loved Amy was when she was in a background shot, the Doctor in the forefront, running after him, and she had to jump this little chain fence but she was wearing that short skirt, and she had to do this little hop over it. <3
--Moffet likes bodies of water in names, I guess?
--Can't say I was wowed by the plot... But, you know, I hardly ever was wowed by DW plots in the past, so I'm not sure why I should be now, except everyone hails Moffat as the second comming or something. My unpopular opinion of the day is: Moffat = RTD. I saw barely any difference in writing, characterizations, or ridiculous plot. Perhaps that will change. Not that I need it to change, I'm just saying.
--Did anyone catch the crack in time & space appearing in that electronic readout in the TARDIS? That's a neat detail. Obviously the set up for the arc of the series.
--The new TARDIS is neat. :D
