All done. Wahoo!
Nov. 30th, 2005 11:40 amI have completed my first semester of Grad school. Yay! It has been an interesting time for me. I've learned a lot, about myself, my writing, the program itself and what I can walk away with at the end of my tenure there.
At this time, I'm still glad I chose to go to this particular writing program, but it isn't quite what I thought it would be. Part of me still balks at the cost of it, particularly in relation to the increasing understanding that it's rather silly to pay so much for people to tell you to write, but I'm sticking with it for now. I adore my fellow students and I'm really looking forward to some of the other classes. Of course, I'm a complete doofus and waited too long to make my appointment for next semester, so currently, I'm not taking the classes I would like, but that's my own fault. It'll all work itself out.

In other news, now that I'm finished with school-related writing, I am free to start Yuletide! I hope to finish that relatively quickly, although I'm still reacquainting myself with the source material. But I have a vague, nebulous sort of idea of what to write, so that's good.
~~~~~
Technically, I started my new position on Monday, but I have yet to see any real change in my duties, which is actually good since I spent most of Monday and Tuesday in a complete fugue of writing and couldn't really do anything else, let alone work. LOL.
