mutterings on a monday morning

I feel the need to get out today, stretch my legs a little, but it's RAINING, pretty badly, actually. And dude, all I gotta say is if it's as bad as it was this time last year I may go crazy. Bah. I always liked rain, but seriously, it was a little ridiculous last year.

I'm currently watching the soggy mass of people parading in the Rose Parade and I'm having flash backs to my child and teenhood, standing out there to watch it in the freaking soggy cold wet morning, sleeping out there all night. *shiver* It's a pretty parade, but so not worth it, people.

I know exactly how you feel hon even though I'm thousands of miles away. We don't get winter anymore, we get rain and damp and grey clouds for months on end and it's driving me nuts.

I was so looking forward to coming out to sunny California for Escapade and maybe getting away from this weather but it's beginning to look like it might not be the escape I'd been hoping for.

My childhood flashbacks are of winters that are so cold and so full of snow and blinding sunlight off that snow. Not too bad as long as you dress accordingly. *g*

It stopped raining, thank God! Hopefully it will not be soggy for Escapade. Keep your fingers crossed! *g*
