Steve appeared on the edge of a highway twenty minutes outside of Willowdale, Virginia, shivering in the below freezing temperature. It was colder than usual for Virginia, a by-product of the Snap. The air had that crystal sharp quality to it, like it had frozen along with the hard ground. Weeks old dirty snow had been scrapped up to create banks along the road. There was no one around—no cars, no lights. Nothing but the icy breeze through the bare trees.

And then I struggle with which chapter is my favorite of this part because I love them all, but I cycle around Thor, Natasha, and Clint, but then I fall back on the others too, especially Tony.
