When life and fandom collide

Over New Years, when astolat was in town, for reasons that don't really need to be discussed here (read: I got lost) she and I were taking the scenic route through Venice. I turned on to a street I know well and thought she would like to see because it's kind of hip happening. Anyway, there we were driving, when I nearly had a heart attack because up on the left hand side was none other than Detective Ken Hutchinson's Venice Place apartment building looking pretty much exactly like it did 30 years ago.

It's a pilates studio now (or the upstairs part is; downstairs is still a restuarant. One that I've eaten at, incidently). And I'm totally going; I have a class tomorrow at 10:30. In Hutch's apartment. Because I can. haha. *dies*
