Day 20 - Favorite kiss

I think most of what I would consider a "favorite kiss" have occurred in film, not television. I'm thinking of the great kiss in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang or Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann.

But, here are a few kisses (and not kisses!) that stay with me.

Sydney and Vaughn, Alias -- Their first kiss is pretty hot, but I always remember this scene as my favorite between them when they first get together, before all hell happens. It's hot and a little needy on Vaughn's part, and sweet with the first flush of love, and then it's creepy at the very end.

I tried really hard to find the kiss between Sonny and Vinnie on Wiseguy but it doesn't seem to have found its way on to YouTube (for shame!) (although I did find this HILARIOUS "conversation" between them) but I post the incredible Nights in White Satan scene instead, which I realize TOTALLY should have made it onto the Best Scene post. How could I forget it??? Maybe because it breaks my heart. sniff.

Speaking of hot Not!Kisses, the following from Ashes to Ashes makes the cut of favorite things. Not very spoilery for those who care.

The Duncan/Amanda kiss from "The Return of Amanda" is hotter, but I think the following may be my favorite between them.

Also, there's this from "Chivalry". What?

But, if we're talking about a kiss that had me at the edge of my seat, that had me cheering, and crying, almost falling from my couch and jumping up and down with joy, clutching my roommate because FINALLY FINALLY OMG IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN EEEEE!!, if we're talking about a kiss that had me babbling like a fool for the next ten minutes, then oddly enough the winner goes to.... The Office, original UK version. I have no idea if watching the final ten (heartbreaking) minutes out of context, without the agonizing build up of the previous 2 series plus the Christmas Special, can adequately show just how AWESOME that ending was, but it's here in case you're curious.

OMG lmao. YES. That was awesome! The flicky-flicky eyes. I can't tell you how much I giggled and had to rewind doing the "come out, come out, come out" part of Only the Good Die Young.

Wiseguy! Yes! Thanks for not forgetting this masterpiece. My favorite. A sweet kiss on the cheek and tight hug will get me every time from those two. I think all the eye-kissing Vinnie and Sonny do counts, too. The up-down looks from Sonny all the time... By the jukebox they are, well, mind-kissing is all I can say. It is NOT a stretch. It is my ALL time favorite.

One of my other favorite kisses is in Brokeback when the wife comes out on the porch, unseen, and sees them. Ohmigod.

Another favorite kiss is in the movie "Priest" between the two guys on a cold beach...a kiss of desperate longing and love that is way powerful.
