TV - tifah checks in
Nov. 5th, 2006 01:47 pmOnce again, my in depth and very thorough television reviews:
Heroes: Was not in the least surprised that my (good Lord) twin on the show ended up being evil. I find Heroes just the barest touch predictable, but still a lot of fun. And, you know, my twin can kiss Mohinder any time, as far as I'm concerned. LOL. (dude, that's so weird. but really, I don't look like that anymore).
Friday Night Lights: Oh, Tim and Jason, I love you both. Okay, now, Tim has to go see Jason on his own, man. Come on. You can do it. Also, I think the Coach owns me. Just saying.
Lost: Ouch! RIP Mr. Eko. I find I am not as attached to these characters as I normally would be. Lost is a fun show, but I find it hard to *love* the individual characters. Anywhoo, I was quite surprised by Mr. Eko's death, mostly because I didn't think they would actually do it, up until Locke ran up to Eko's body. Even when Eko was being slammed around all over the place I was like "Oh. He'll be fine" and totally believing it. Whatever the reason (behind the scenes) it came as a surprise in the narrative, although looking back, I should have seen it coming. I dunno. *shrugs* I do love the *show*, itself, and I'm pretty sure I'd love going where ever it wants to take me. If something happens to Desmond (which, you know, nearly did already, with the hatch!) we'll see how I react. Oh, and speaking of Desmond? He should be required to wear blue every day. :D
The Nine: I hope they don't drag out the whole gambling addiction thing. I find that tiresome and cliche. Come on, do better! I'm all for a spotty history, but let's make it interesting. I liked that story line with believing Eva had something to do with the robbery (and showing how subjective memory can be and why eye-witness accounts are kind of unreliable sometimes). I think the actor who plays Randall is very very good at playing dangerous. Well. I'm still tuning in! So, that's something.
Battlestar Galactica: Wow, Apollo dropped that weight fast, didn't he. LOL. Okay, whatever, I'll buy it. I think I'm going to miss squishy!Apollo, though. Where the hell was Anders? And, I'm not going to pretend to understand what's going on with the Cylons and Baltar. Hybrids? Projection? Huh? The illness won't be a forever thing - and we'll see how the whole "biological warfare" thing works out for them and all the moral ambiguity of it. And I say again, Where was ANDERS?!? Hello? Seeing Gaeta again was good for my heart. *pets and hovers protectively*
