Heroes and Friday Night Lights

hafitalHeroes: Okay, so, I missed the previous episode, which I hear tell had a lot of backstory and so I'll get around to watching it soon, hopefully. I loved all the mini reveals. Go Eden! (I'm not certain she's dead. Oh well.) Down with Evil Horn-rimmed Dad! Booooo! Go mysterious Haitian dude! Go Nikki! You're strong enough, girl, just believe in yourself. Go Claire. (I love Claire. I feel terrible about her brother and friend. Yipes. I hope they remember, somehow). Hiro is the BEST, omg (WTF Dinosaur??!! that's almost as out there as polar bears on the island, people). Yay for Isaac clean and sober. And most especially, Go Nathan and Peter. Uh, why is Peter coughing and looking pasty? Did I miss something? Huzzah. Erm, that's about the level of commentary I'm capable of.
Friday Night Lights: I'm blown away by this show, consistently. The acting, the writing, just totally awe inspiring. YAY. And also, OUCH! OMG. Smash, I love you so long as you do not fuck with Matt Saracen. You're gonna crash and burn, Smash, and I just hope there's something left over because you're better than you think. Matt, I didn't think I could love you more, until you sang for your grandmother. Landry, I loved seeing you shaken up! Poor dear. Julie, you are cute and adorable and who the hell taught you how to dress for a date!? You were going to the movies, not Singles Night at the Tiki Room. Bwahaha. The Taylors, trust your daughter. Tami, I DO NOT envy your job. Yipes. Tyra, you tell him! Brothers Riggins, you break my heart, the two of you. Tim, Billy has his faults, but he's the only one that's stuck by you 100%. Team Panther, WTF people, you do not go smashing in a teammate's windshield. Unacceptable. Jason, hang in there and I hope you find your way past anger. ETA: And lest I forget, Buddy Garrity, I never thought I'd like you, but thanks for being a Dad. God, I love this show. I think it was made for me, specifically. :D
