hafitalokay I lied it totally is
1) I rode a sassy mare this morning.killabeez says her facial scars give furiousa vibes!
b) sushi will happen at one point
tres) i'm off from work for a week! i hardly know what to do with myself. mom has booked an appointment in a harmonic egg (a very mom thing to do). all I can think of is I wish it were mork's egg from mork & mindy.
IV) I rewatched The Falcom and The Winter Soldier all in one sitting, all 6 hours. And, if you have the time and the inclination, I highly recommend to do that! I loved it even more than watching it the first time and personally think the lead up to the ending links together better when you at least watch the last 3 eps all together. Spellman said he broke the story in 3 acts to be a 6 hour movie and then rebroke it into 6 episodes with a 5 act structure. Good lord.
There was more I wanted to say about TFATWS but I don't remember what it was. Probably complaining about complainers. That's my thing right now.
5) I watched Julie and the Phantoms and season 9 of American Horror Story at the same time. Just after finishing watching Supernatural. And I've decided they all exist within the same universe. Do not contradict me. GHOSTS ARE EVERYWHERE. Some of them might even be dancing and singing.
VI) Speaking of Supernatural, I watched the Aronofsky film mother! and immediately thought of Chuck. lol.
siete) I am loving The Bad Batch on Disney +, the new Star Wars, Clone War adjacent animated tv show about the defective clones. It's great. I love it. A +++
ocho) A post came through tumblr complaining about Avengers: Endgame, and while most posts complaining about Avengers: Endgame are usually about Steve's ending, this one complained about the whole Snap/Blip thing and how fucked up it was that there was even a snap to begin with, and that the writers or directors/ or the avengers should have fixed it so the snap never happened or something. That way the world wouldn't be fucked up in TFATWS and Wandavision. I don't know, it might have said more but I skimmed it and then blocked it because posts like are annoying imo. because, it's not like the MCU was a rosy healthy peachy keen place BEFORE the snap. Like, the snap didn't make things worse worse. it just made things worse differently. Like Sam would say.
Also, I personally love love absolutely totally love seeing the repercussion of the Snap in the MCU. It's like one of the main things that I loved in TFATWS, so the whole point of that post really went against what I like about the MCU. Typical! I've also written it in my stories, how fucked up everything is after the snap. I think it makes the MCU so much more interesting. Clearly I am full of unpopular opinions. I play in my own sandbox.
(it's not that I don't find things to dislike about the MCU, there's plenty. it's just that I'm TOO LAZY to actually complain about it. it's so much easier and happier and funner (that's a word) to just have a good time with a fandom than to sit there and pick at it in irritated fashion. Just take what you love and ignore the rest, or even just love what you don't like anyway. it's all fiction. It's putty in your hands. Either that or save your sanity and do not watch. You actually have a choice.)
But that post did get me wondering how that would even happen, and really the only way would have been if they had defeated Thanos in Infinity War. Like no version of snapping half of humanity and even fixing it right away, even fixing it so no one died at all, would not have resulted in a fucked up universe afterward. At least that's how I've written it in my post Infinity War stories, most of which fixed the snap pretty quickly. You don't get to snap away half of humanity and bounce right back to normal.
I also wrote the version of the story where Thanos is killed in Infinity War. So, i've covered all the bases!
Though I understand the wish to have it all fixed right and tight. I said before Endgame came out that if Carol Danvers could just fix everything in the first five minutes of the movie then the avengers could have a 3 hour long pool party. But honestly that's what fan fic is for.

TEN TEN TEN) Can't wait for Loki! Though, dude, I am finally going to get Black Widow. It's been a long year. Whooooo.
